(Co-financed from the state budget of the Republic of Poland)
The project implemented by Liki Mobile Solutions has received funding from the state budget of the Republic of Poland, awarded by the National Centre for Research and Development.
Project description
The aim of the DAWN6G project is to develop solutions supporting automated management of next-generation mobile networks. The project integrates data from 5G/6G networks, platforms, applications, and IoT devices, and then applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyse it. Three main components are being developed:
- Behavioural control system for IoT devices – builds models of device behaviour and detects activity deviating from the norm, indicating a failure, misconfiguration, or unauthorised access.
- NAPES2 platform – an environment for emulating the behaviour of IoT devices and services, generating data for scenarios that occur too rarely to train models on.
- Analytical and integration components – a layer combining data from multiple network layers, generating alerts and supporting decisions to isolate a device.
Target groups
The project is aimed at telecommunications operators managing 5G/6G networks, as well as teams responsible for monitoring service quality and the security of IoT devices.
Consortium
Liki Mobile Solutions is the leader of the Polish consortium, with Orange Polska and the Warsaw University of Technology as national partners. The project is carried out under the international EUREKA / CELTIC-NEXT initiative.
Project objectives
- Automatic detection of anomalies, failures, and unusual device behaviour in 5G/6G networks.
- Analysis of how network events affect service availability.
- Developing competencies at the intersection of AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and telecommunications.
Project outcomes
- A set of analytical, integration, and tooling components for network operators.
- A demonstrator built and validated on both real and synthetic data.
- Networks that are more reliable, secure, and resilient to unforeseen events.
