WHAT’S THE IDEA BEHIND?

Such events are perfect for generation which strives for gathering the latest information, data and staying updated with all the fresh news. At their website,TNW features stories and news about technology and startups.

What do they say about their own initiative?

TNW is a future-proof tech media company that focuses on this cross-generational group and helps them get the most out of technology by informing them through remarkable stories and insights, and by bringing them together through extraordinary events and workspaces.

WHAT DID WE LIKE ABOUT THE EVENT?

Liki team had amazing time during the conference. Here, there are the most meaningful insights and our favourite moments of the event.

  1. Knowledgeable speakers who eagerly shared their experience during lectures.
  2. The speeches, which were intertwined with networking breaks and roundtable discussions. The whole space was created in a way that gave us an opportunity to have some enlightening conversion while switching between stands with a cup of coffee.
  3. What made the biggest impression on us was the diversity of topics. They ranged from startups’ issues, women in IT concerns to machine learning or future of medicine areas.

It was an all-encompassing exploration of technology’s future which made it possible for every tech buff to take away something matched to their individual interest. During the marathon of speeches We found out the definition of the role of technology. We got some interesting facts about wonders as well as dangers of technology, such as cyber-crime, which is the biggest threat in the digital age. We were also shown the global reports with the rankings of deep tech startup ecosystems along the subsectors of life sciences, AI and blockchain. What particularly drew our attention was the speech of Guy Kawasaki – the author of Wise Guy – who gave us some lessons from a life in technology

WHAT DID FIND THE MOST INTERESTING?

Among the hottest topics, you could find AI and voice recognition systems, which totally revolutionize the world of technology nowadays. These are definitely the most innovative trends in creating tech solutions which improve our daily lives and change the way how we will live, work, and move in tomorrow’s world.

We’re happy we could be part of this event. Networking and meeting many IT enthusiasts showed us the power of TNW. We could exchange our experience and get plenty of inspiration there. Our participation in the event was supported by the Marshall’s Office of the Lodzkie Region within the project, which fosters entrepreneurial activities in Lodzkie Region: “Lodzkie in Brussels supports Lodzkie business. Promotion of comprehensive export offers for enterprises from the Lodzkie Region”, financed under the Regional Operational Programme of the Lodzkie Region for 2014-2020.
